Because of several dead-end streets which don’t show up well on some maps and on some GPS systems, it’s best to turn into Torridge Street from Thames Street - (the main Street and also Highway 1).

If you are heading south make a right turn into Torridge;

turn left into Torridge if you are heading north on Thames.

After a block Torridge begins to climb steeply. At the top - a “T” junction - turn left on to Warren Street. Drive to the second-last property on your left - 14 Warren St - notice at gate “Homestay Oamaru”. Go down the long concrete drive (plenty of room to turn at far end)
